Nothing compares to the classic beauty of natural stone – each piece is unique and offers an unmatched versatility of design. Pental offers a curated range of stone slab quarried from sites around the world.

We carry many types of natural stone including: granite, marble, quartzite, travertine, limestone, onyx, slate, basalt, soapstone, and others. Natural stone is durable, however we do recommend that all natural stone be sealed upon installation to protect against everyday wear, dirt, and spills. When maintained properly, it will add an elegant touch of distinction and bring a rich and timeless ambiance to any room.

Alternative Stone

Alternative stones are those not classified geologically the same as other natural stones seen on our site. This includes basalt, soapstone, and schist.
Granite

Granite

Durable. Stunning. Versatile. Granite is a very dense igneous stone and is highly resistant to staining and scratching. The coloration does not fade over time, leaving your granite as vivid and radiant as when it was first installed.

Limestone

Neutral. Contemporary. Sophisticated. Limestone is a calcium based sedimentary stone often used in residential and commercial settings. We stock a variety of limestone in honed, tumbled, and polished finishes.

Marble

Classic. Traditional. Elegant. As a calcium-based sedimentary and metamorphic stone, marble is geologically categorized as re-crystallized limestone. Its natural beauty is perfect for both modern and traditional looks.
Onyx

Onyx

Classic. Traditional. Elegant. Onyx is a translucent stone with a natural beauty that is perfect for both modern and traditional looks. It is a calcium-carbonate based stone that is formed in caves. Onyx slab should be sealed and treated with care as acids will etch it. As a softer stone, care should also be taken with abrasive materials.
Quartzite

Quartzite

Beautiful. Unique. Durable. Quartzite is highly resistant to heat, stains and scratching, making it an ideal choice for vanities and countertops.
Travertine

Travertine

Old-world. Rustic. Practical. Travertine is similar to limestone, but is formed near hot springs, creating its natural pitted look. The pitting can be filled, either at the quarry or by your installer, for a smoother surface. Left unfilled, the pitting will attain a rustic look. The low-maintenance stone pleasantly wears down to a natural antique finish.
